TMB's Five Favourite Drinks to Say Cheers With
Today is a special day in the bridal bubble, we are wishing TMB founder, Jess, a Happy Birthday! To celebrate, we are raising a (virtual) glass and sharing our favourite recipes to celebrate her big day and toast life’s victories with.
A good ol’ glass of red
Our consultant Allison’s favourite way to say cheers is with a glass of red wine. Her favourites right now are Henry of Pelham Baco Noir & any red from Between the Lines Winery.
Her favourite way to enjoy a red is in a big glass with a good charcuterie board and the company of one of her furry friends.
The Dellemere
Adele and Alicia are spreading some local love by raising a glass of Spring Mill Distillery’s signature cocktail, The Dellemere. Local, delicious and refreshing - here’s the recipe:
2 oz Spring Mill Gin
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1.5 oz honey syrup
3 mint sprigs
1 mint sprig for garnish
Combine all ingredients & shake vigorously with ice double strain into chilled cocktail glass garnish with mint.
A fancy refresher
A glass of cold spring water infused with cucumber, mint, ginger and lemon is what our consultant Scarlet is toasting with. Cut some extra cucumbers, lay them on your eyes, light a candle and say cheers from the bathtub.
Anything from Brothers Brewing
Hayley & Jess are raising pints from Brothers Brewing Co. Mystical Mango Moon Child and the TMB inspired brew, Glitter & Gold are their go-to’s. Though, you truly can’t go wrong with any brew from Brothers.
The Grand - Grand Marnier Cocktail
A grand cocktail for a grand woman. Donna is giving the toast and saying cheers with The Grand - Grand Marnier cocktail. Here is the recipe:
½ oz Grand Marnier
½ oz vodka
2 oz cranberry
1 tsp lime juice
Proseco or champagne
Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add Grand Marnier, vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice. Shake well.
Strain into chilled martini glass and top with prosecco or champagne and a sprig of rosemary
So, here is to Jess on her birthday, to all you babes navigating wedding planning in 2020, to sitting on the couch eating cookie dough and to finally putting on a real outfit that matches - it’s the little things. CHEER! "clink*
