Our team at The Modern Bride has grown and we couldn’t be more excited! This is the perfect opportunity to introduce you to all the beautiful babes who make The Modern Bride so successful! Each week we will share some fun facts to highlight one of our #TMBTeam members. Today, we are introducing you to our belly-laugh-inducing Creative Strategist & Social Media Manger, Taylor!
You’ve been a vital part of the TMB Team for almost a year now, so what would you say is your favourite part of working here?
I absolutely love working at The Modern Bride. The women I get to be around every day are so empowering and so hilarious - I don't go a day without at least one belly laugh. I also love when I become friends with the brides who come into the boutique, it's so nice to click with different people. Summer!
If you got married today what season would you get married in and what TMB dress would you wear?
Definitely getting married in the summer and I would definitely rock Colette by Alexandra Grecco with a cute detachable tulle skirt!
What are your current favourite bridal trends?
3D appliques, bell sleeves and frills!
If you had to choose, what side settle on in the great bridal debate: veil or no veil?
Definitely on the fence about this! I do love a veil but it would have to be the perfect fit with the dress; I’d personally love a long cascading cathedral length.
When your attending a wedding, what is your absolute favourite part of the entire special day?
Hands down the first look with the dad or the groom.. or wait, maybe the excitement on the bride and groom's face once they walk down the aisle after saying, "I do"!
Ok Taylor, name three things our TMB blog readers might not know about you…
1. I am the ultimate crazy dog lady. I could be in the middle of a conversation and see a dog and completely forget about what I was talking about. They are just so cute and fluffy and beat humans 2-1.
2. My favourite music genre is 100% rock. Give me anything with a sweet electric guitar and the kind of drums you can feel in your belly and I'm sold.
3. My ideal date night would be watching a live band on a patio with a cold cider (Revel Cider, preferably).
