Mallory and her family stole our hearts the day they walked through the boutique. Not only is Mallory stunning but she is one of the sweetest souls around! We had so much fun through the process that we didn’t want her to leave!! We are thrilled that she decided to share her day with us! Careful you don’t swoon over these sweet small town moments!

How did you and your hubby meet?
"David and I grew up in the same small town. We had mutual friends, often attended the same events, and our parents knew each other, but since we went to two different schools, we never officially met until later on (although there is a picture of us side-by-side from our early days playing t-ball together). Flash-forward 15 years, I was working as a waitress at the local restaurant in town. One night, David happened to come into the restaurant, and this is where we finally "met". From there, we starting talking daily, spending lots of time together, and eventually became inseparable... and the rest is history!"
Your favourite wedding moment?
"During the wedding planning process, I would often imagine what that moment walking down the aisle would feel like. I would picture me in my dress, with my dad and grandpa by my side, surrounded by all our family and friends, walking towards the love of my life. To be honest, I had big expectations for this moment. David and I decided not to do a first look, and on the day of the wedding, I remember being so nervous to walk down the aisle that I almost felt sick. The moment I turned the corner and saw him standing at the end of the aisle, I immediately felt an overwhelming sense of relief (although I didn't look this way because of all the tears). Seeing him standing there, in front of all of our family and friends, overwhelmed with emotion, is something I will never forget. It was one of the happiest moments of my life, and was everything that I had hoped for, and so much more."
Any wisdom for future TMB brides?
"When I came to The Modern Bride for the first time, I had my mom and my younger sister (MOH), with me. Being in the store with all of the beautiful dresses, and only my closest loved ones, was such a special experience. Putting on that first wedding dress, and seeing my reflection in the mirror was an amazing feeling. It was this day that, for the first time, I truly felt like a bride. The greatest wisdom that I can pass on the future TMB brides is to truly just enjoy the moment, have an open mind and follow the "feeling". My dress ended up being totally different than what I had thought I would get, but I knew it was "the dress", because of how I felt when I was in it; beautiful, like a bride, and excited to marry my future husband in it."
Any other amazing tidbits?
"I know everyone says it, but your wedding day truly does go by so fast! Try to really be "in the moment", and soak in all the wonderful things that are happening. All of the people who have come to celebrate your love, the special details you have taken so much time planning, the kind, and hilarious words being shared in speeches, finally being able to wear your dress... enjoy it all. And, if you can, steal your new hubby/wife away for a quite moment and some newlywed kisses!"
When we asked her to be featured as a #TMBrealbride?
"Yes! I would LOVE to do this for you!! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about my experience with you and your mom. I am so glad I found you guys!"
We are so glad that you found us too! We wish you and Dave so many more moments full of love and laughter just like this one! Congratulations Mallory & David!
